David Blaine has been popular for several years now, while Criss Angel has just become popular in the last year or two. So David Blaine is more recognizable, the bigger "celebrity" of the two.
Both guys are talented, and even though I don't follow their professions that closely, it seems to be that Criss Angel is probably the better entertainer of the two...notice, I did not say "better magician".
Criss Angel seems to have a better "stage presence", so to speak. He's personable, likable, more talkative, etc. David Blaine always seems so sullen and focused. Both men perform illusions/stunts that are amazing to watch; I just think Criss Angel makes it a little more entertaining.

David blaine. He's more mellow and personal. I think Criss Angel is a little to much in love with himself.

i would have to say chris angel he is so much more riskier than david blain
