I usually tip 20% to all the categories you mentioned. I have never, however, tipped a hostess or a conceirge.

Yes to all of the above. I waited tables and know what a tough gig it is, so I usually tip 20% or more.

I'll pay a consierge or matre'd at a posh restaurant well if it gets me ahead of the line, too. (Sorry, I hate waiting and I can afford not to wait). Of course, I'd prefer to save a few bucks and make a reservation, but that isn't always possible.

I tip waiter/esses over 20% since i did that for years, and know how it is. I have very long hair, and cut my hubby and sons, so don't use barbers, I live in a small town, so drive myself, but I do tip at hotels and such when I am there, and i try to be generous.

TIPS is an acronym meaning To Insure Prompt Service. If the service warrants/merits tipping, I will tip. I feel that employers should pay their employees at least minimum wage and not expect the public at large to be paying them for their work.

Yes I tip well, usually 25%, even the parking lot attendant. I don't like to tip Bellman that hold their hand out though.
