they will both be in the hall of fame and winning championships doesnt seem to be in the cards for the future for both unless they get more frontcourt help

Kobe is better. The reason why I say this is cuz' he doesn't have any weakness in his game. Lebron yet have to improve in his defense, free throws, decision making and closing games. All this parts of the game are very well dominate by Bryant. Another advantage is experience Kobe has been in 10 post-seasons and 4 NBA finals including 3 championships. Both of them will be in the Hall of Fame. Kobe will win more championships cuz' he's already ahead of Lebron. They both will win championships, but at the end of the day Kobe will have more rings in his fingers.

I'm sure they already have a spot reserved for Kobe in the Hall of Fame. I don't think they even need to wait for him to retire, they can just go ahead and put him in there now. As far as championships? Kobe needs more help on the team. One man can't do it. And no not even Jordan. Jordan had a great team when he won all those championships. But anyway, I'm sure we'll be seeing Kobe winning more championships. And yes, Kobe is overall a much better player than Lebron.

For now based on who's been in the league longer I have to go with Kobe. In the future when both their careers are over who know could still be Kobe but it could be Lebron. They'll both be in the HOF. As for who'll have more championships I don't see Lebron winning four so I'd once again have to say Kobe.

this isn't a fair comparison because Kobe has been in the nba for a few years and LeBron has only been there 3 so Kobe is more experienced and had plenty of chances to get his feet wet matter of fact his feet are now sucking up the water give LeBron 2or 3 more years ta get a ring or sumthin then ask the question again

easy one, here are the facts:
Kobe averages 3 points more than lebron, yet only attempts 0.6 shots more per game.
Kobe: 3 championships, lebron: 0
Kobe makes his team better than lebron does, look at luke walton, smush parker, KWAME BROWN! all these guys were garbage before, now kobe makes them better.
Lebron, on the other hand, turns ilgauskus, who was a multiple time all star into crap, larry hughes, who was a all star and a defensive mastermind into crap. And boozer leaves cleveland, where he was mediocre and now he is one of the 5 best pf in the game. point made.
Lebron averages like 1 assist more thank kobe, but thats because the cavs offense runs around him, while the triangle offense isnt around kobe.
other points: kobe 65, 50, 60, lebron this year season high: 41. lol
Kobe is the better shooter, ball handler, defensive player, and dunker. Lebron can jump, but when he's up there, he has the creativity of lil jon.
other things in my head too, but i cant think of them. believe me, this one isnt even a question right now.

KOBE. LeBron hasn't done anything, and probably won't even make it to the hall of fame. Definitely not going to make it to a championship.

kobe... the man is in the basketball history books... until lebron starts breaking records, they don't even compare... kobe is a lock in as a hall of famer, and has 3 championships... lebron still has a lot to prove, and hopefully lebron doesn't get a career ending injury (i.e. shaun livingston)...

lebron who? james? is he still in the nba? that guy can't make a free throw or a jumpshot. the only thing lebron has on kobe is that he's a freak athlete but he is inferior to kobe in everything other than jumping. it's hard to even consider lebron a top 10 player let alone better than possibly the best basketball player to ever live.

Ummm Kobe...I can;t believe how easily Lebron gets away with it when he loses games...like the other day against the Mavs, he scored like 30 something and the rest of the team weren't that impressive and the recap for the game says the supporting cast of Lebron are poor and its their fault that they lost to the Mavs. WAT THE FREAK?? they have former all stars in ilgauskas and hughes and its their fault that the cavs lost??? LAME LAME LAME! How come Kobe doesn't a break like that every time???
175 points combined in 3 straight games man, thats right up there with Wilt...Lebron hasn't even come close to that.
