Totally agree. They may have got good picks but what they need is a QB. I think they would of been smarter to get Carr in that trade so they at least had a back up for when Vick does nothing again. Their losing players where they were actually strong (defense) and getting rid of their future for draft pick uncertainty. Schaub was the most coveted back up in the game and Vick is the most over rated done nothing QB. I don't understand what their seeing. He must be selling a lot of seats and jerseys cause he's not winning games.

News flash for you, Kerney is not the best DE in the game. Take off your homeristic glasses. He's not as great a loss as you think.

Trading Schaub makes a lot of sense because they can get something of significant value for him now, instead of next year (when he leaves as a free agent) and all they'd get would be a single compensatory pick in 2009 which wouldn't have been more than a 3rd rounder.

A purely objective analysis says that Atlanta's management made some brilliant decisions.

you have to be kidding. They raped Houston in that trade. 2 2nd round picks for a guy that has only played a handful of games, and hasnt played real well when he has been in there. Dont give me the Patriots game, cuz they had the WORST pass defense in the NFL at that time.

Kerney voided his own contract, nothing Atlanta could do.

The only mistake they made is keeping that Vick guy under center.

Schaub will fail miserably in Houston, you heard it here first.

I'm not a big fan, but they said on the news that they didn't initiate the trading, the other team called them, with the trade off, and it was too good of a trade to pass. When you look at it in their eyes, I guess it was. And with all the legal stuff going on with Patrick Kerney going on, they probably wanted to get rid of him quick.

They can be idiots, I'm glad they've done stupid things this offseason.

WHO DAT! WHO DAT! WHO DAT SAY DEY GONNA BEAT DEM SAINTS!

We'll sweep the "Dirty Birds" again this year. Joe Horn is going to regret he ever put on red and black.
