Golden books! there's a "blast from the previous" I undergo in recommendations them "The little engine that should"? i don't think of my mom examine them to me. I checked some out of the college library. Outgrew them till now 1950. easily i replaced into extra into "The final of the Mohican's" and " Les Miserables" enjoyed Sherlock Holmes and Jules Vern books too.

being middle aged this question brought back many memories of the "golden book" stage. there was so many. i got me want to read all the time. they was my first favorite books to have.
