Get yourself down your nearest pharmacy. I reckon it sounds like you have got some grit or bark in your eye that is scratching it, or has even infected it (eyes are rubbishly good at getting infected!)
The pharmacist can give you eye drops or a wash that fights infection - you don't need a prescription. Do it now and you will find it will feel better quite quickly. You won't enjoy your night out if you don't! Good luck! I think the eye wash is called Optrex Infected Eyes or something like that. Don't get a normal eye bath without asking anyone as that won't do any good.

You'll be miserable all night.I poked my eye with a Fake christmas tree needle and did not see an M.D.It hurt for MONTHS.At least The Doc could give you some painkillers and a patch even if it isn't infected.

well if it didnt do anything to your eye it should stop watering within a few minutes. so youve probably scratched the white of your eye or have something in it. i know it sounds mad but try washing your eye out with milk it doesnt hurt like water and will help get anything still in there out

My friend got hit in the eye by a crisp packet - sounds innocent but he'd damaged his retina or something equally gruesome. He had to wear a patch then dark glasses for ages to avoid losing his sight. I'd nip down to casualty if I were you - best to be safe than sorry.

On the eye? If you got hit ON the eye, you need to go to the ER immediately. You could have a corneal abrasion.

Stop being stubborn and go to the doctor. Which is more important- a night out or your vision?
