I used to think it was the USA but we have a lot drama going on about gay marriage, adoption, medical benefits and stuff. I'm just curious as to how the rest of the world is handling the subject.

Canada, the Netherlands and Sweden are probably the most accepting countries and in that order may I add.

The Netherlands is the place to be... up here in Canada is pretty open as well. The US is all too motivated by political agendas ... so it's hard to tell what really the acceptance level is.

Canada and most of Western & Northern Europe are certainly more gay-friendly than the US by a longshot.

I'm sure Holland is that country. I think it was the first country to allow gay marriage. The Dutch are quite tolerant :-)

Check out this link and the song behind it and tell me that the Dutch are not the most accepting. They are even teaching their children to be less condenming of homosexuality.
