IS this a window for internet explore? IF it does, go and click on *file* then new windon and it will apear. If you are talking about a window explore, go to control panel and click on folder options. select the second option on *Folder Browser* which it says Open each folders in its own window.

Right click on the link and select the open in new window option.
You need to do that every time you want to open a link in a new window or tab.

You can always right-click on the hyperlink and click "open in a new window" or "open in a new tab" on the newest version of IE.

you did right click the link and 'open link in new window' wasn't on the drop down menu didn't you?
