Hello! I trying to bargain shop for baby stuff. (or at least I plan too.) I'm going to move in like 2 months and start my baby shopping spree then. :) I'm excited. I love yard sales and good sales in stores. Are there any great stores hidden out there for baby stuff that is maybe gently used or just on sale! (I know it's a long shot)

Check your phone book...there are usually baby used clothes stores in most cities. They are great you can get everything there for a lost less and it's usually gently used items! I bought a lot there becuase i didnt see the point in buying brand new clothes when they are only going to wear them for a month! Also, Shopko has alot of Carters items for less than normal and have a program where if the item gets ruined before they grow out of it they will replace it! Awesome once your kids get older and clothes get worn more! As far as yard sales go ive gotten a ton there too! It sounds a little picky but i go to places in the "high end of town" they are usually lookin to get rid of their ralph lauren, tommy, and baby gap clothes cheap! Good Luck!

Just as an FYI check out the recall products when you are buying used baby stuff such as a car chair, high chair, crib, playpen. I know it may sometimes tempted to get a bargain but be careful with your purchase. I would suggest getting new stuff if this is your first child.
The places I have found great deals are Babies R Us, Burlington Coat Factory and Walmart. I don't think the stuff at Target is any better than Walmart and also it's more expensive.
Good Luck and Congrats,
L

My trick is to make sure to get to the good rummage sales, in the type of neighborhoods where you know they had more then they ever used, EARLY. Otherthings Ive found are to get on Targets & BRU's list. Just even register for 2 or 3 items, just to get on their mailing lists for COUPONS, even if you dont want to register at these stores. Same thing goes for online sites, and wait and wait out for sales, free shipping, etc.

Rummage sales is where you will find the best deals. Otherwise look on clearance racks in most stores for great deals. For future reference, do not buy you child's good shoes second hand. I would only buy outdoor play shoes second hand. Goodwill, Salvation Army or other local thrift stores. I was lucky, I have 3 nephews older than my sons.

Ebay is a great place to shop for baby stuff. Just watch out for the shipping charges.

Your information paper could be a solid start up. a large style of cases there is "solid neighbor" sections the place human beings purely supply stuff away. Congrats on doing all of it your self and not obligating human beings to a social gathering, BTW! a place like goodwill/salvation military oftentimes depraved low priced stuff. i might beware on eBay and different comparable sites. You under no circumstances comprehend the place they arrive from, quite if stuff comes from a smoking family individuals individuals or one with a large style of pets.

Dollar Tree and Dollar General has nice, cheap things for babies. Walmart, Kmart, and Target or good too.

Congratulations on becoming a parent!
