The Bb trombone is definitely a tool that performs and reads interior the main of C. there is not any transposition needed except youre playing in a brass band. So sure, playing a C on trombone is same as a C on piano. Why is the trombone called Bb trombone? that is because of the fact its open notice is Bb and the commonplace notice is Bb. Trumpets are different reason it had to do with how the trumpet stepped forward, yet i wont get into that.

No. It's pitched in B flat. But there are trombones pitched in G sharp, too. They are a bit bigger than their B flat brothers.

no, I don't think so. I play the trumpet, and it's a B flat instrument. I think its an A flat instrument instead.
