I see you asking a lot of questions on log.Your homework?
If log confuses you, just remember this "Log of 100 to base 10 is
2"
10^2=100
Now in your question 100=>(y-7), 10=>4 2=>3
Therefore 4^3=y-7
(4*4*4)=y-7
64=y-7
64+7=y-7+7
71=y//

To undo log you power the base so
log(y - 7) base4 = 3 ---> y - 7 = 4^3.
You should be able to finish it now.
