Does anyone know how much extras in movies or tv shows earn?

I want to know how much extras, or those with small roles earn, im thinkinking of becoming an actor.

Double check me but I believe it depends on if you have SAG card. In general, extras work for free with SAG members getting the minimum allowed by the union for the smaller roles.
