No No NO No!!!! It's sinful and it's an abomination to God. He didn't create us to be with a person of the same sex. He wants us to be fruitful and multiply. You cannot this out being with a person of the same sex. And besides, that's just disgusting and nasty.

Most conservatives don't have a problem with gay's desire for a union recognized by the State (thereby conferring all rights of marriage), they have a problem with the word "marriage" being used, which is a traditional thing. To me, this begs the question "When did States get into the marriage business in the first place?"
I believe all gay couples are entitled to the same Rights conferred by the government as those conferred to heterosexual couples. However, I also feel it isn't necessary to force the term "gay marriage" down conservatives throats just because you feel like offending a traditionalist.
My proposal is limit ALL marriages exclusively to the church. Those who go to church and get married can reserve this traidtional title for themselves and get over it. Those of us who don't, gay or straight, can be "contractually recognized" by the State in a ceremoney with a JP. I'm heterosexual, got married outside of the church by a JP, and could care less if my "wife" is actually my wife via Civil Union rather than marriage.
There is no documented proof that contemporary heterosexual couples make better families than homosexual couples do. When no fault divorce became a generally accepted premise, the "sanctity" of heterosexual marriage went out the window with it.

yes. definitely yes that the homosexuales do have the right to get married to their companions because in the U.S. Constitution it does not say anything to the contrary.
I am for same sex marriage. If it is homosexuals or lesbians getting married, then I am for it because the society as a whole should recognize homosexuals to have the same right to marry whenever they want to do so.
getting married is a beautiful institution and if two people who love each other want to become married, then why should we stop them in becoming married at all?

Absolutely.
As Adult Human Citizens they should be afforded the same ACCESS to all rights, liberties and "the pursuit of happiness" as anyone else.
The entire marriage argument is over a religious belief pattern, not secular legal issues which are clearly NOT the same when it comes to the United States Constitution and it's laws.

Should Heterosexuals have the right to divorce? Always look at the opposite end of the question. If two people have grown apart and love has turned to hate why shouldn't they divorce? If two people are in love why shouldn't they marry? Who am I or you to judge the love life of others. And in the name of all that is sacred, how can a marriage of a same-sex couple damage the marriage of an opposite-sex couple? Live and let live. Judge not lest you be judged and found wanting. God is love.Love is the measure of all things. Are you living your life in love? That is all one needs to consider.

I know its against god. I am a strong believer in god but i feel that if two human beings love eachother then they have the right to marry. Its not fair that a women and a man are allowed to marry as many times as they want. You see more dirovce's then anything right now. I think its okay. They deserve to be happy just like any straight person.

Absolutely - any two adults who love each other and deem it important to go through the ritual of "marriage" should have that right. We should all have every right we have been given under the constitution of this country not the words of the bible - which is interperted by everyone differently.

homosexuales, just like their counterpart (the lesbians), do have the same right to get married as a typical human being. God does not discriminate on sexual orientation but however He does check if one has treated the fellow man like his own neighbor.

I think its a free country. If you wanna be married so be it. Its just a peice of paper anyway as long as you are together with the one you love thats all that matters kinda be weird though in a divorce cuz the wife usually gets most of the stuff but who is considered the wife in a gay or lesbian marriage?

In the eyes of the government, yes. We pay as much taxes as everyone else does.
Who cares about marriage in the eyes of the church. Gays aren't looking for that. That is not what this debate is even about, yet the churches seem to have a say in the matter.

Homosexuals have as much right to marry as deviant, philandering, pedophile Republicans.
The government of the United States of America is not here to define matters of the heart for it's citizens, nor is it the business of the federal government to regulate the anti secular right's version of morality upon the rest of us.
