Like, I mean, how do you get your clothes back to normal once youve turned them pink.

Put them back in the washer for another wash. There is some stuff you can get at the supermarket on the laundry aisle called Bluing. I think Ritz makes it. Follow the directions on the package and it should restore the normal color.

If the garment is white, then use the hottest temp. Add some oxyclean and Bluing to the water. That might help. Some also try chlorine bleach. Depends on the material. If it's all cotton then bleach should work, properly diluted of course.

They have a thing at the store in the detergent isle that removes colors from clothing. (Not the original color of the garmet but the color that bled onto rid...maybe from Rid like others mentioned.) I have used this before and it is GREAT. I really works without damaging the clothing or the color. I forget what it is called though : ( I know that it is in a little small package.....Or there is this site:

Oh! Oh!
Pink is not your favourite color!
Perhaps some of the things are better pink!
The pink in cotton can be reversed with a bit of chlorine bleach.
Other fabrics will require soaking in all fabric bleach.
Then rewash.
Good luck!

IF it hasn't gone through the dryer (heat will further set the stain) I have had good luck with oxyclean and boiling water. (In my experience, the hotter the water, the better for removing tough stains.) This is safe for white garments that have a bit of color on them.

You can try a little bleach..but I'm not going to fool you. Once cloth is stained another color, that's pretty much it. Sorry. Especially with reds and deep blues.

Rid makes a thing called "whitener and brightener" made espescially for this situation. I have had to use it many times when my husband was learning how to do the laundry.
