1)1 atmosphere = 760 torr
2.6 atmospheres = 1976 torr.

2) Which of the following describes temperature?
the heat of a substance

3) 2 moles of hydrogen peroxide will produce one mole of oxygen. The molar mass of H2O2 is (2*1 + 16*2 = 34g/mole). 15g of H2O2 is equivalent to 15/34= 0.44117moles of that chemical. The number of moles of oxygen produced is 0.44117/2= 0.220588 moles. The mass of oxygen produced is 0.220588*32 = 7.06g.

1) 1976 torr

2) the average kinetic energy of the particles in a substance - temperature is the motion of particles, if it's hotter their moving faster, if it's cooler, their moving slower

3)
15.0 g H2O2 * (1 mol H202/~34 g H202) = 0.44 mol H2O2
0.44 mol H2O2 * (1 mol O2/2 mol H2O2) = 0.22 mol O2
0.22 mol O2 * (~32 g O2/1 mol O2) = 7.04 g O2

So the answer is 7.06 g (it is a little bit off because the molecular weights are approximate).
