As an American, yes 75% of us are stupid and really don't care about the truth because we have shows like American Idol, Dancing with the Stars, Deal or no Deal... and all the other bullshit to keep us entertained while the world goes up in flames.... 20% of us are foreign and more educated... and 5% of us actually know whats going on!

A lot of Americans buy into the democrat propoganda and want to bury their heads in the sand, so pull out of Iraq and hope the big bad terrorists will go away and leave the US alone, how childish. Vote democrat is a vote for Al Quaida in USA. Does anyone honestly think its a coincidence that there has not been one succesful attack on US soil since 9/11.

I believe this goes for most of young America nowadays.
In America we live VERY different lives.
Most are caught up in their own "thing" to really even care what happens around the world. As the years go by, this ignorance increases.
Media, upbringing, and a lack of curiosity (laziness) are to blame.

Unfortunately many Americans believe what the news tells us and that is isn't censored by our government. So yes many Americans are ignorant of what is happening in the world. They would learn more about America by going abroad and finding out what the world knows about their homeland.

NO AMERICANS ARE NOT IGNORANT TO WHAT IS HAPPENING IN THE WORLD, WE SIMPLY HAVE A DIFFERENT VIEW OF THINGS THAN MOST OTHER COUNTRIES HAVE. AS WELL EACH AMERICAN HAS A DIFFERENT OPINION.
