the most overrated team right now is Ohio St, by far. They shouldn't have made it past the round of 16. By looks of it, it was done from poor officiating. Tennessee put more effort than OSU did. OSU should lose in the elite 8 though. They're an okay team, but they are in no way comparable to the likes of Florida or UNC. It was luck that gave them the 1 seed to begin with. OSU has one incredible player - Oden. Everyone else on the team is pretty average compared to the players in the teams that made it to the sweet 16.

We will have a much better idea by tonight, as there are 4 more games before we'll know the elite eight. The way they have been playing with coming close to being defeated, one might consider Ohio State overrated, although they are still one of the elite eight. By Saturday, we'll have the final four, and be able to see who was overrated. Go Pac 10!

Every team that was there should have been there because they beat a team to get there. The only thing I have seen happen in this tournament that I think was wrong was that Vanderbilt actually beat Georgetown because the player for Georgetown who made the winning shot--walked and it was not called. Had it been called, Vanderbilt would have won that game. They were robbed.

I don't think it's fair to say that anyone is overrated if they make the Elite 8, but to answer the question of who shouldn't have made it this far, it is easy to point to Ohio State's miraculous wins over Xavier and Tennessee. Memphis was quite fortunate as well.

Why dont you wait until some teams actually get into the Elite Eight? Right now only 4 teams have punched their ticket.

i guess the easy answer is to say ohio state because they've almost lost, but almost losing still means you won. great teams rally and come from behind. i hate ohio st. but they're good.
i'm gonna go with memphis. they were 324th in the nation in free throw %, they were in a garbage conference, the only ranked team they beat was kentucky. they won in the first round big deal. they completely lucked out when acie law missed that layup and they couldn't make free throws at the end. they caught a&m on a bad night but will get dominated by ohio st.

Easy - OSU. They have a bunch of good players but cant play well as a team. If they would have fed Oden the ball as many times as he was calling for it they would have never been down in the UT game. This coming from a Tennessee fan.

Geezy-Weezy, are you overated when you advance that far. You won the games. I dont care how, just win...All competion was was stiff...I am not big on the OSU in the finals, but their
record speaks for itself. And not from a shabby conference.
