yes it can. i'm not sure if the bt software works on a mac, you'll have to check. HOWEVER you don't need the software to use the hub for the net. I've got both a pc and a mac running off my hub, i don't install the software on either. The mac will automatically configure itself to use the Hub for the net, plus you can access all the hub settings by typing 192.168.1.254 into safari.

I dont know what a BT hub is but I know the MAC works great with pretty much any networking device.

don't see why not. most routers and modems are setup for network not ones sort of p.c or operating system. network equipment is general works to networking protcols and the p.c/mac compleys with them. for example i have a bt modem/router at home pluged in to a wifi access point and i have had p.c and mac running off it at the same time with little to no configuration
