Tyra Banks has insisted and continues to try to get the word out, time and again, that reputable agencies do NOT charge fees.
She says and I agree, that only 'fast-buck' set-ups would try to exploit young women attempting to break into the modeling field in this way.
It may be harder in the short term and seem to hold out less possibility for success, but it will be more heartbreaking emotionally and financially to go the 'sham' route.
I suggest your daughter continues to do the rounds of properly established agencies with good track records whilst continuing to expand and deepen her academic qualifications.
Angela.

No it is NOT customary. Someone is trying to scam you! Go to the Tyra Banks page on the net. You can e-mail her and she will e-mail you back with questions to all your modeling needs! You should never have to pay to be enlisted with a modeling agency, EVER! So put your wallet back in your pocket and get a hold of Tyra Banks who can set you up with names of very reputable agencys...Good Luck!

That $100 covers photos and make up. But... read the fine print. How many photos. One or twenty? Will she ever model outside of the studio ?? What exposure do they offer?
