Why don't they deliver mail twice a day??

'Cause those dang Postal workers are lazy, they get more days off than anyone else!

They used to. The second delivery was for all the pieces that were mis-delivered. Then they changed hiring procedures, required an eight grade diploma and were tested for English. Became more efficient.

That's a whole lot of mail. I think they've got enough on their hands without visiting everyone's homes and businesses twice, daily.

you can get email 24/7 and it is better than regular mail

Because they cut corners. They don't want to use too many employees so that they can cut cost on mail delivery. !!!
