A syndicate is a group of people who come together to buy something or a group of people who all put a stake in the venture to share reward. For e.g A syndicate of 10 people each put £1 a week in to the lottery and if any of their numbers come up then they all get an equal share!

Syndicate allows you to provide an RSS newsfeed. People can subscribe to your newsfeed and either (1) display your news (from your frontpage) on their website or (2) read your news from their desktops using a news reader. Firefox supports RSS for example.
