Can anyone believe this? And Supreme Court Justice wants to look at internation laws to decided what our Constitution should say.

Absolute power corrupts absolutely. Some justices feel that their opinion is supreme.

I, and many of my family members, have had oportunities to live outside the U.S. for a year or two - and while it was great experience, and I'm so glad I got to do that.
Ultimately, I am so grateful that my permanent residence and citizenship is here in the U.S. As much as there is corruption, this is still a land of oportunity. There's no way back in Europe (where I was) could a person of my young age, and relatively small income, own a peice of land (with a lawn! - yes that's a rare luxury in the world) like I do.

How well did you fare in U.S. History class?
If you think there are no international influences on the U.S. Constitution, well... I won't say it.
The best part is a major influence on our nation's constitution came from that country that conservatives love to hate. Yep, you guessed it -- France. Ever heard of Montesquieu?
Of course there were other influences and sources, but this is the most ironic and amusing to me. Enjoy.

This reminds me of a story I heard a long time ago about a race between two cars. The two cars in this race were a US design and "another" type. While the US car won it was not directly mentioned. The "other" car, however, which lost, was talked up and reported as placing second! lol!! It all depends on your perspective... and how you want the story to read.
This stated "concern" is merely a distraction to permit the re-writing of our most basic document. The proverbial "spoonful of sugar."

Yep Rush had that same point when it happened. It opens us to have all kind of interpretations from all kinds of foreign law. INCLUDING ISLAMIC LAWS.
