Ah but does it? Ok firstly you need to ascertain if it does. Get a tape measure and with the wheel ON THE CAR roll the wheel one revolution. The best way to do that put a really heavy chalk mark on the tyre and on a good black tar surface preferably new, roll the car. Marks of the chalk will be seen on the road, measure.
Do the same with the new and if within a couple of inches forget it as different makes of the same size and tyre wear will give that. I reckon you will have a big surprise in that there is no difference.
If it is still of concern, find on of those areas that have a speed indicator, go thru it with the old tyres at a known given by you say 50kmph and the machine gives say 51. Do the same for the new and it gives say 55 then you know the variance. Mark with a permanant marker the variance so you have 55 at the 50, 110 at the 100, and divide up accordingly.
This is legal even for import cars that have only miles or kilometers, dependant on country.
My landrover has had this for years, I think the speedo is from a LR lightweight but that the Army just put it in my 109.

Use 205/40 x 17 tyres and the speedo would be the comparable as this might make the rolling radius of the tyre and wheel assembly extra or much less the comparable as wide-unfold. you won't be able to adjust the speedo besides

Adjusting the speedometer, likely, will not be possible.
How large are the wheels? Your best bet is to find a tire size that will bring thing closer to spec. If this isnt possible, then I would have to say that this is one of the risks one takes when one upgrades.

you need to change the speedo drive in the gearbox
find a similar car to yours (same mfg)
with the same size wheels as yours and buy a speedo drive to match
