You are asking the question that all of America with ears is asking! It's awful isn't it? I used to love American Idol, but it's getting pretty pathetic when a singing compitition becomes a beauty pageant. There's a girl that's still there that needs to go home too and she knows it; that's why every week she wears less and less. She knows it will keep her on the show. I guess it's just shallow people, I also heard something about a web site called votefortheworst.com, but I'm not sure about that.

There is a website that is trying to prove that AI is a popularity contest. It's been on the go for a couple of years. It has millions of hits a day apparently and it is asking you to VOTE FOR THE WORST singer so they can make it all the way and win. Idol is aware of this site and Simon has been quoted as saying if sanjaya wins he will quit the show.
I don't want to post the link to the site to give it anymore popularity but I'm sure you'll find it...LOL

There is an entire network out there voting for him. The Vote for the Worst website is rooting for him and so are Howard Stern Listeners.
By the way, Vote for the Worst selected Taylor Hicks last year.

Howard Stern has been urging his listeners to vote for him, being his favorite contestant. He has such a large fanbase I'd not be surprised if many people actual do what he says.
