Has anyone seen this film yet? If so, can you tell me if it is worth watching?

I agree with 'Eleni'. I liked the film very much but only as a film. As a Greek i have to say that they didn't present the Persians as they were really and even though they were the enemies of Greece at that time they were also a great empire and they didn't deserve to be presented like monsters. The movie is to my liking and if you like action movies and battles you will love it! They have many phrases taken from the real history and this is something that i was happy to see even though they were translated in English and their meaning couldn't reflect the greatness of the real meaning of the words as they were originally said.

It is a nice action film.
It has not an historical value because it is based on a comic.
I am Greek and I can really say that I didn't like showing the Persians like monsters.
All the rest are very close to the true story but it is still an action hollywood film based on a comic.
It worths watching ,you will enjoy it!
As I can see from the answers above all the girls liked the film and the boys didn't!You can guess why!!!

I was simply amazed by this movie.
By far one of the best films I have seen in a long time.

visually - the movie is beautiful.
they did an excellent job bringing the comic to life.
it has action! action! action!
as my bro says: it is definitely a testerone driven movie
the plot and dialogue-- i'm neutral.
bottom line: definitely worth seeing on the big screen.
