Come on, guys... This is so easy...

P.S.: Don't recommend me Pink Floyd, The Beatles, Roxette, Iron Maiden and some artists like these. Thank you.

Sad/Happy Ending: Rascal Flatts - "Skin"
This song is sad/happy because its about a young girl who is in love and wants to go to a dance, but she has cancer and loses all of her hair and doesn't think her date will want to take her anymore. But then he shows up and all his hair is gone. :)

Sad: Jason Michael Carroll - "Alyssa Lies"
Every time I hear this song, I can't stop crying. Its so sad - about a little girl who gets abused by her family, and ends up getting killed.

Christmas Shoes - Newsong,

It is by far the saddest song I have ever heard. It's about a little boy who's buying shoes for his dying mother so she will look nice when she meets Jesus in heaven.

I think My Immortal by Evanescence is the saddest song I have ever heard. The video makes it even more sadder with the whole black and white theme.

Oh boy. There are lots of candidates, but since you are only asking for one, I'll give you one:

Lou Reed- "Sad Song"

The woodwinds really soar and the dejected lyrics (especially in the context of the entire Berlin album) really choke me up.

Mad World - Tears for Fears

All around me are familiar faces
Worn out places, worn out faces
Bright and early for their daily races
Going nowhere, going nowhere
Their tears are filling up their glasses
No expression, no expression
Hide my head I want to drown my sorrow
No tomorrow, no tomorrow
And I find it kind of funny
I find it kind of sad
The dreams in which I'm dying
Are the best I've ever had
I find it hard to tell you
I find it hard to take
When people run in circles
It's a very, very
Mad World
Mad world

Children waiting for the day they feel good
Happy Birthday, Happy Birthday
And I feel the way that every child should
Sit and listen, sit and listen
Went to school and I was very nervous
No one knew me, no one knew me
Hello teacher tell me what's my lesson
Look right through me, look right through me
And I find it kind of funny
I find it kind of sad
The dreams in which I'm dying
Are the best I've ever had
I find it hard to tell you
I find it hard to take
When people run in circles
It's a very, very
Mad World
Mad World
Illogical world
Mad World

There's something about these two songs, I don't know. They're not exactly sad, but they hit you hard the first time you hear them.

(the fray [over my head] and five for fighting [the riddle] )

These are probably the saddest, though:

Christmas shoes by newsong takes the cake though, for me.

[I wish I had a link so that you could play it... It's really so beatiful]

(yellowcard [two weeks from twenty], death cab for cutie [what sarah said] and carrie underwood [independence day])

Yeah, I know exactly what you're going to do as soon as you see yellowcard, just ignore, right? NOO! Don't. Please, they are capable of slowing down. It's beatiful.
