How can I remove a bumper sticker that was put on my back window?
To start, lay a large rag over the sticker and soak it with water. Let that set an hour or so and then remove the rag. Use a single-edged razor blade to scrape away the sticker. When you're done with that, pat the area dry and then clean the rest of the glue off with any remover such a Goo-Gone. Finally, just wash the window.

Good morning to you. I think the cheaper way to remove the residue is to apply a soapy, wet towel and soak the spot for awhile...then, if you don't have razors, you can use a butter knife or the edge of something sharp to softly scrape the area clean. Finally, use rubbing alcohol to clean the leftovers off.

goo be gone etc is fine but guess another use for wd40. it removes the residue and it is in most homes.

A product called goof off or goo gone. Also plain old rubbing alcohol may work. Gasoline is also a good solvent but it will stink up your car.
