Use Goo Gone

I found this at the link below - I hope it helps:

How can I remove a bumper sticker that was put on my back window?

To start, lay a large rag over the sticker and soak it with water. Let that set an hour or so and then remove the rag. Use a single-edged razor blade to scrape away the sticker. When you're done with that, pat the area dry and then clean the rest of the glue off with any remover such a Goo-Gone. Finally, just wash the window.

Good morning to you. I think the cheaper way to remove the residue is to apply a soapy, wet towel and soak the spot for awhile...then, if you don't have razors, you can use a butter knife or the edge of something sharp to softly scrape the area clean. Finally, use rubbing alcohol to clean the leftovers off.

A product called goof off or goo gone. Also plain old rubbing alcohol may work. Gasoline is also a good solvent but it will stink up your car.
