Love is love man. The greatest love of my life is my lil doggy. She loves me unconditionally. I love my sister and she loves another woman. Appearance is not love. Love is love no matter where it is found or directed. O yeah, by the way, Bernie Taupin wrote all those songs for Sir Elton John.
Peace & Love,
Laurie

I'm confused as to why that would blow my mind or anyone elses. Elton John is clearly a very loving, compassionate, creative being regardless of his sexual orientation. The world is blessed with his music.

What does it matter who he was writing them for...
...and saying he wrote 'some of the best love songs ever'...I don't know about that...he wrote some good songs (most with Bernie Taupin, it wasn't just him) calling them the best ever is a stretch.

No Love is love, Even if it is the same gender. It's the feeling that lights you up & you know you would live or die for them withouty regret. That you'd give anything to make their dearest dream come true even if you lose out in the process. That's what love is, Weither yopu, he or I feel that for a girl or a guy make no difference.

Ok, Elton never wrote his own lyrics. His friend Bernie Taupin did. So, your qestion is invalid.

No, why should it. Two people have a right to be in love.
Beethoven was deaf but wrote some beautiful masterpieces. Most designers (Calvin Klein, Yves st. Laurent, Versace) are all gay but design beautiful clothes (admittedly most women can't fit in them).

Love is love, right.
Man man, woman man, woman woman.
I assume all the sentimental drivel written in love songs applies for whatever sex you wish really, it is about person to person emotions and all that....
