Patrick Henry. He was a political leader in the American Revolution, loudly voiced his opinion against the 1765 Stamp Act and stirred up rebellious sentiment down South. A master orator. A Federalist, but opposed ratification of the U.S. Constitution because he believed it threatened states' rights. Successfully pushed for the addition of the first 10 amendments (the Bill of Rights) to the Constitution.
