I would have to say Gears of War. It has amazing graphics, sound etc. and a lot of violence(which I love). Be aware though that this game is rated M for mature so it does have a lot of profanity in it. Semmingly since you don't care about the ratings it shouldn't matter. But hey don't get me wrong it's one of the best games that I have played for the 360 so far. Another great game is Rainbow Six.

Depends on what you're idea of a fun game is.
Military shooter try Rainbow six vegas.
stealth action can't go wrong with splinter cell double agent(Multiplayer rocks).
RPG Elder scrolls 4 oblivion will do it for you.
Survival/Horror Condemned Criminal Origins will keep you on the edge of your seat.
Futuristic action adventure Lost planet and Halo2.
of course these are all good games but if you want to truly get the most out of your xbox you need xbox live. I believe for 30 dollars you get 3 months of xbox live gold, 100 microsoft points which you can use to buy stuff from the xbox live marketplace,a free classic arcade game download (joust),and an xbox live communication headset for your 360.

It depends on what kinda genre you like of games. I,personally,love Gears of War. It has awsome gameplay,graphics,sound,and all that good stuff. One thing that annoys people but other people love doing are the glitches.Theres about 30(?) different glitches in the game.Some other good ones out though are Rainbow Six,Crackdown,and all the other titles people are talking about.Don't forget you can still play Halo 2 on your xbox 360 as well :D

I like Elder Scrolls: Oblivion myself. But if you want a good multi-player game Gears of War is the way to go. But there are other too.
Crackdown
Rainbow Six: LV
Call of Duty 1-2
Battlefield: Modern Combat
Those are all that come to mind at the moment.

If you dont have halo2 yet go ahead and get that one, then gears of war has gotten nice reviews, ghost recon 2 and maybe doa 4
But if i had to pick two get halo 2 and tes4 oblivion, good game that one is

Great thing about the 360 is that you can download demos for free. They have one of just about every game thats been released, so u can find out for yourself.
Gears of war is awesome but short, I mostly play it online these days.
