Would you be insulted if your girlfriend said this to you? I'm thinking of getting a buzz cut due to thinning

hair and have been asking her opinion of what she thinks about it and have been showing her pics of different haircuts.

Her response - "You are spending so much time RESEARCHING your dam* haircut, yet you waste so much money by NOT researching important things that you buy and end up wasting money. YOU ARE SUCH A PRETTY BOY!"

You believe this?

This is an ongoing thing since she always reads Consumer Reports and researchs EVERYTHING for weeks... and annoys me asking my opinion on all these trivial purchases.

The one time I ask her for an opinion, this is what I get!

She sounds like an educated idiot, one of those folks that read a book about something and are a damn expert.

She read up on blenders for weeks before buying? Probably a little nuts too.

A shorter haircut for thinning hair is a great idea by the way.

As far as I am concerned you were researching the buzz cut by asking her for her opinion.

You might also bring up that since she is pouring over the reports she might have had a decent answer for you.

Tell her if she is not going to help you why should you bother answering any of her questions.

PS. shaving your head doesn't necessarily mean your hair will grow thicker, I have heard from men who do it that their hair has actually gotten more sparce

She's telling you you're vain for wasting more time on your hair than she does with hers...and if you are not careful the rest of your life will go down the tubes (meaning with her)...so knock it off...

Translation:The next time you want some, she'll be too busy doing her hair...
