What are the internet setting for pay as you talk vodafone?

Question

since i am on pay as you talk it doesnt work, internet/email or msn, i have downloaded the setting "prepay" from noka but it doesnt connect, any ideas?

1. Press the Menu key to bring up Menu. Scroll to settings (bottom right icon) and press Select.



2. Scroll down to Internet Settings/Network press Select.



3. Highlight WAP Settings and press Select.



4. Scroll first to profile and press the menu button to Select.



5. Stay on Profile Name and press Select. Enter: Vodafone Live then press Select.



6. Scroll down to IP Address and press Select. Enter: 212.189.137.012 and press Select.



7. Scroll down to Homepage and press Select. Enter: http://live.vodafone.com. then press Select.



8. Scroll down to Port Number and press Select. Enter: 09201 and press Select.



9. Scroll down to Circuit Prompt and press Select. Scroll to enable and press Select.



10. Scroll down to Connection Type and press Select. Highlight GPRS and CSD and press Select.



11. Scroll down to GPRS settings and press Select.



12. Highlight APN and press Select. Enter: pp.vodafone.co.uk then press Select.



13. Scroll down to username and press Select. Enter Wap and press Select.



14. Scroll down to password and press Select. Enter Wap and press Select.



15. Scroll down to Linger Time and press Select. Check that it is set to 00180sec and press Select.



16. Press Back then scroll down to CSD settings and press Select.



17. Highlight Phone No. and press Select. Enter: [phone] and press Select.



18. Scroll down to Line Type and press Select.Highlight ISDN and press Select.



19 Scroll down to username and press Select. Enter: Wap and press Select.



20. Scroll down to password and press Select. Enter Wap and press Select.



21. Scroll down to Linger Time and press Select. Enter 00180sec. and then press Select.



22. Press Back twice and you will be then given the option to Save? and press Yes.



23. Highlight the profile you just created i.e.vodafone live and press Select to activate it.



24. Press the cancel key to go back to main menu.

Vodafone dont do data packages as yet. From what i've been told its going to be available in june on pay monthly. Whether or not it will be available on pay as you talk I couldnt tell you, if you ring 191 from your Vodafone handset they will give you more info. If its Vodafone Live you want go to the Vodafone website to download it.

i can never get on the internet with voda fone i have a pay n go sim its always the same my mate n my fella cant get on the internet either
