Nobody made the link because it's a ridiculous link to try and make. Your question has more marks of being racially motivated than his elbows. Give it a rest.

First of all, it has been linked all over ESPN, and secondly it has nothing to do with race. The bottom line is that basketball is a contact sport, and sometimes players are bound to get hit, and he was trying to draw a foul on all of those plays. It didn't matter what race the defender was. When he hit Reggie Miller with a punch, was that because he was black? Think about the logic here people. How come nobody makes a big deal about the only 2 sports setting an age limit/mandatory college playing time being predominantly black? How come you can play tennis, hockey, baseball, golf when you're only 13-16! I'm white, but let's be honest here, the politics in sports are definitely not set up for minorities.

Kobe plays hard and he plays to win,I know that when players play that way sometimes people get hurt ,elbow here ,elbow there,I do not think that he has race on his mind when he is scoring 50 or better .Trust me you have to play extremely hard to get over 40 points in a NBA game.MAN ,leave Kobe alone and just watch what he is doing and you might witness some history.

So you mean to tell me when your in the middle of a shot you are thinking about seeking revenge of another race? Kobe is just a spoiled fag that hates when things don't go his way. What about the situation with SHAQ? Would that make him some kind of super racist? The reason the press never did that is becuase they know race had nothing to do with it.

That's not enough to base a solid question on, especially in the NBA. If he were walking down a busy street and he picked out two White guys to elbow I'd say differently but...You know.
@Mark Paul the 1st: Wrong. You get an "F-" for not even attempting to use your head.

Didn't Raja Bell from Phoenix clothes-line tackle Kobe in the playoffs last year, was that racist also....???? If Kobe did it intentionally it was because he felt the 2 guys he did it to wouldn't kick his **** and he was trying to draw a foul. I don't believe he did it because they were white. And I hate Kobe, but your making me defend his actions......I think it was BS that he did it and the second time he should have been fined more and sat out more games without pay.

Kobe's a dirty ball player but I dont think it was racially motivated. He was just hating because he got his shot blocked. Bottom line is no more NBA for me, to many dirtbags. At least the football players are supposed to be barbarians.

white people are inferior to black people as athletes, so for white players to be successful they are what we call "hacks" because they are constantly gettin cheap little hand checks in that don't get called and they just don't get off of you. if you don't want a broken nose get the **** outta kobe's way cuz he's not going to stop being an aggressive basketball player.

No, Kobe's elbows are just a reaction to someone getting into your space when you are shooting a shot. Its like when you are in the air you and you have been lowbridged before...you try to protect yourself from being subjected to that again.

Not racists - Kobe would do it to anybody because he can get by with it. Nobody is going to make him quit playing.
