I'm so sick of hearing about Kobe scoring 50 points a game. He's a dirty player, a ballhog, he cheats on his wife or is a rapist depending on who you believe and he's a spoiled brat so why does espn keep shoving him down our throats. Just because he scores a lot of points doesn't make him a good role model so espn please get off the kobe kick.

If you people don't like Kobe the person, that's one thing but the man is a great player. If this were Wade or Lebron getting all this press there would be no problem with. Kobe cheated on his wife and yes this was wrong but our beloved Michal Jordan cheated on his wife for years while he was an NBA player and was even cheating with some of the porn actors from that era. But no one ever mentions Mike's adultery. MJ married his soon to be ex-wife in 1989 but in 1991 he was involved in a paternity suit with Karla Knafel. He was not the father but he was tested because he admitted to sleeping with her during that period. Lets keep it real people. Kobe is a great player and as long as he is filling seats he will be on ESPN so get used to it.

How is he a spoilled brat when he is famous and he can get whatever he wants....cuz he is the greatest basketball player in a long time. Are you serious about him being a rapist. yeah man espn doesn't discriminate against "dirtbags." a great player is a great player. i wish they showed more highlights from kobe's last 3 games on sportscenter because i couldn't get enough. what do u want to see dwyane wade shoot 30 free throws a game, lebron james not be able to make a jump shot or free throw, tim duncan making a layup, steve nash passing the ball to james jones and watching him make a three with a hand in his face? sure those guys are great role models, but i'd rather watch reruns of roseanne than that boring shiit. hate kobe all u want but he is the best player in the league and they're nobody is going to stop talking about how great he is on the court.

I'll agree. Kobe is a dirtbag. He is a terrible role model. But he is making history. That's why ESPN keep talking about him. He has scored 50 points in 3 straight games. Majority of NBA players don't score 50 points in a game throughout their career. He has become the fourth player in history to score 50 points in 3 straight games. He has his name next to Elgin Baylor, Wilt Chamberlain, and Michael Jordan. So please don't ask such stupid questions. This is a historic 3 games for any player in the NBA. This week will be remembered forever. So please don't be so stupid.

Memo: ESPN is in the business of reporting SPORTS RELATED STORIES! When someone goes for 50 3 straight times, why wouldn't he be on ESPN? How come nobody gets tired of hearing about Steve Nash everday - hint, maybe some of the people on this forum have racial motivations. Bottom line is, you aren't in the position to judge his character, judge him for his game on the court - which you know is good. If you don't want to hear about him scoring 50, write to your hometown team, and tell them to stop him - that's a joke cause nobody can stop him, and we all know it's true.

i agree. he score 50+ in three games ya thats good but look at the teams he did it against. when he does that against good teams like cavs suns mavs heat ect. 3 games in a row and they win then i wont care but any one who takes 30+ shots in a game like he does against those bad opp. should get 50. and Matt1108 ur an idoit ya of course is racial that no one likes him but they like nash or u kno it just could be the fact that kobe is a ball hog and conducts himself poorly on and off the court while nash is a good player makes everyone better and conducts himself very well. but it cant be that can it.
