This is not a straight forward question, for example, is it good manners to open a door for a female, (note the term) yes, especially if they are pregnant, or with push chair etc. The same for a male to give up his seat on a train etc. However, if on an exercise with the military, rally driving, in fact any driving, it is expected that the lack of a winkle does not engender benefits.
This also applies to many other fields. As a reasonable rule I have found that if the female is wearing a nice dress or skirt then they almost certainly appreciate it. If dressed multi sexual then you have a decision to make. Trouble is I am a guy and wear a kilt!!!

Yes most women really like being treated like ladies.
However there are a few who don't really care how you treat them.
I personally think that all women should be treated like ladies and this is not s sexiest view !!

If a woman knows within herself that she's worth being treated like a lady, that fact will not escape the attention of a man who himself wants her to treat him like a gentleman.

Yes, of course. I grew up in a family where men treat women always like ladies. So, whereever I am, men always do.

Unless an individual tells me otherwise, I treat all women as ladies.
I open doors, offer my seat on crowded transport, believe in, & use the term, "ladies first", etc.
Nothing wrong with a bit of chivalry I say..

There are cultures whose ladies donot know how other ladies in other cultures are treated. Ladies are expected to behave like ladies. Women who have not known how to behave like a lady cannot say they like to be treated like a lady. If you donot know how to be a geisha, you cannot answer if you want to be treated like a geisha these days.

Of course they do - when it suits them. Sadly, many women want to be treated like ladies (damsals in distress) when they feel like it, then they want to be treated as independent and your equal - when they feel like it, then they want to be treated like the greatest thing since sliced bread between the sheets.....and on it goes. I feel bad for men because they're never really sure how to treat us and when.

Those who act like ladies do.
Those who don't act like ladies don't want to be treated like ladies.

Probably not. There ain't many ladies out there any more. Look at the ones out there now. How many ladies have YOU seen today? How many slappers by comparison? Too many.
