every book I read lately sucks. I like Mystery, suspense, horror etc NO ROMANCE. any suggestions

i am legend by richard matheson its a classic and haunted by chuck palhuniak ( i dont know if i spelled that right but ts the guy who wrote fight club dont read it if you have a weak stomach )

try anything that Elmore Leonard or Carl Hiaasen ever wrote. They are contemporary, story is usually set in south FLA, eclectic characters, fast-paced but believable action
