Please don't blame yourself.My father and mother were alcoholics and it wasn't our fault at all...(I have 5 other brother's and sisters) they no longer drink...my father passed away 5 years ago but was sober for 15 years before and my mom has been sober for a lot longer.Their the one's who owe you an apology..they are the bad ones.You should be asking him if his drinking is causing pain for you.I'm sorry sweetie and i'm also sorry to see some of the responses i read but believe me IT IS NOT YOUR FAULT.I hope things get better soon for you and for ev1 with abusive or alcoholic parents.

My dad had a bad attitude without drinking a drop. Had a bad anger problem and didn't need alcohol to help him slap us around..... =((

I was jealous of my brother and I was doing bad things to him....needless to say that now that my bro is 16 and much taller than me...he's taking revenge!lol

put cherry bombs in mailboxes, knock over mailboxes, Broke the basement widow at are house, got home two hours after my curfew, took out the car pulled pranks, wrecked his car, and got arrested when i was fourteen for a DUI.

My Dad was on top of things, he didn't drink. He used the paddle.

I wasn't that bad, but he drank anyway. He was too busy getting out there and cheating on my mom to care about me.

my dad used to drink coffe with blueberry brandy so he could sleep.
I guess anything I was doing happed to keep him awake all night.
