A text is a text as long as it is to someone in the United States with a US number.

it depends on the plan, do you have long distance on your cell phone? If you do have long distance (meaning you can call anyone in the US at the same rate) then there is no additional charge. If not then there may be a charge, I suggest calling Sprint and finding out.

If you have texting in your contract it should be free, no tolls either. Also, it is my understanding that Texting does not count towards your minutes. If you do not have texting in your contract be aware there will be a charge for every text weather sent or received. So if that's what your into make sure what if anything it is going to cost cause a simple text conversation can at times run more than the cost of just calling.

None... get unlimited texting. I didn't in the past and text a lot. It's better to pay for unlimited than to have to pay for going over.
