Seeing that this is posted in the "History" section
I suppose that we can assume you are speaking OF history
So--- going on this as a basis

It all started (at least we are Told) with a super big firecracker and it has been "under construction" ever since----
And, even though it is not yet completed (heaven forbid) it has gone through some amazing changes over the course of its "construction"--- So--- with each moment that passes --- another "brick" is laid into the works !!

When was you built? just count how many years has passed since you were born.
