I am 5 months pregnant and have gained about 20 pounds. I can't exercise much because of an inflamed sac the bothers my back. I'm not worried about the weight right now because I know I have to gain it in order for my baby to be healthy, but is it true that breastfeeding helps you lose weight faster? How much weight do you actually lose after giving birth? (I lost a lot of weight using One A Day Weight Smart Vitamins, can I use them while I breastfeed?) I'm just worried that I wont lose the weight I gain with this child, so I need some tips to help me out. P.S. the only exercise I do is walking. I can't stay with anything else very long. This is my first child and I'm 21 yr old, I just want to stay looking as good as I did before I got pregnant. Any Advice???

Absolutely true. Breastfeeding gets you back to "normal" faster since it effectively completes the pregnancy cycle. But you should know that it takes more calories daily to breastfeed than it does to actually be pregnant, so don't plan on dieting until after you're done nursing. Continue to eat right and do what limited movement you can and your body will thank you by bouncing back quicker. It may not look the same but you should have no trouble getting back to your original weight.

okay first of all, Yes breast feeding (if you can produce milk)helps you burn extra calories which can cause you to loose more weight. After you give birth right away you lose the weight of the baby, the weight of the placenta and any water weight you may occur plus the extra blood weight.

If you can breastfeed most doctors recommend you keep taking your prenatal vitamin. This is because the baby still is getting his/her nutrients from you! And you need the nutrients also!

The best way to loose weight you have gained durring pregnancy is to exercise (when your doctor clears you) and to watch what you eat. Walking will be good after you have the baby to. Fresh air for baby's lungs! Make sure you get a stroller or a carrier!

I would start watching what you are eating starting now. The more weight you gain durring pregnancy the more you have to loose after! Just gain the required usually 25-30lbs or ask your doc!

Yes, breast feeding burns many calories, and does help the weight go faster. Don't worry about gaining excessive weight (of course, don't binge on twinkies, lol). Your body and the baby need the extra, and its perfectly normal. I went from 115 to 180 with my first pregnancy - 65 lbs - and my doctor was not worried since I was thin to start, he said I needed the extra weight. I finally ended up at 120 by the time my son was 6 mos. old (I got to keep 5 lbs., they never went away). I did nurse him, and did put him in the stroller and go for walks with him. It really helped. Don't worry - this is all temporary. You may never get back to where you started, but you'll get close. Just eat healthy foods, allow yourself the treats now and then, and you'll be fine.

There are over 1000's of distinctive denominations of Christianity. Many of them claiming that the opposite sects aren't actual Christians. Look up the No True Scotsman fallacy. When you return right down to all of it ideals boil right down to: "My perception approach is the One True Religion. Your perception approach is a hazardous heresy" Centuries in the past individuals fought wars, had individuals branded or burnt alive on account that of this. Today so much individuals sweep it below the carpet and fake to be open. But in the event that they have been real open then there could no longer be 1000's of distinctive sects. Personally, any faith that says a ideally suited being wrote their holy booklet - however did it in one of these obtuse method that there are 1000's of distinctive approaches to interpret it, is in general a load of synthetic garbage. Seriously, how rough is it for an all-powerful being to have every body who's within the fake sects get up one morning with phrases of fireplace throughout their ceiling announcing "You Got It Wrong . . ."

let me just tell you this...unless you eat excessively, most women end up losing the weight they gained during the pregnancy...when you see fat women after their babies are born, it's usually that we tend to eat a lot after the baby's out...
i lost 20 lbs after my daughter was born...i breastfed and lost another 20 lbs...but throughout that year and stuff, i just began eating a lot and stuff and gained it all back...

so, unless you sit all day and eat junk food, i wouldnt' worry too much...
