I lost my phone, and so I'm looking to buy one off ebay, and I'm wondering if it's hard to activate, or if anyone has done this, what is the proceedure?

Please make sure the phone has Verizon Wireless on it, and whenever you buy from Ebay or bidding sites like that, make sure they offer at least a 10-15 day return policy just in case the phone has any issues that you can't see until you get it. Never order from someone just selling one without a lot of positive feedback either. Not good.
AND, with that said, it's actually easy to activate. When you get the phone in, call 1-800-922-0204. Put in your mobile number (even tho it's lost) and press 0. You'll get right to someone within a very short amount of time.

It is risky, because the phone may not be returnable if things don't go right. I'd buy it from a local store.
