i'm a 15 year old girl and my life is crazy. i have to keep my room clean, and do other chores around the house, take care of the animals and clean up after my sibs, going to church (hlping in pre-school class) and other youth group activities.i'm being homeschooled (one of those teach yourselves things, both parents work) Biology, World History, and Algebra 2. I'm dual enrolled at the community college and take World Religions, College Composition, and Word Processing there. I am playing softball (1-2 practice, 2-3 games a week), and i'm in drama and dance goups for my church ( a competition for the arts that we are entering is coming up),not to mention keeping up with friends in othr states that are wondering why i'm not writing back to them ultra quick, and then spending time with my family and working with my Dad for his buisness and babysitting for everyone and their brother. it's too much and i'm falling behind.i love everything that i do, but i can't take it anymore.suggestions?

Cross off the things you would rather not do and tell all concerned everything is too much for you, so you've decided to stop a. b. & c.
Explain it like you have here on Y!A. They will understand.
Have a happy life

Wow! I know you're definitely in over MY head. My life is usually like the plate-spinner in the circus, but you have a lot more plates to keep spinning than I do.
At your age, your education should be your #1 priority. Church is extremely important, but I think you need to limit your activities there. You need to sit down and take a deep breath. List all your activities in their order of importance to you, and eliminate the entire bottom half of the list. Your parents really need to be backing you on this, because you seem to be in danger of total burn out. Talk to them, and tell them what you've told us.
BTW: I'm not sure how you can be home schooled if no parents are in attendance. I probably just don't get the concept, but I thought the whole point behind home schooling is that the parents do the teaching.

Wow! I'd say you have quite a plate full!
I would prioritize your activities and eliminate some of them. Your school work should be #1. You need to decide how much you can handle. Sit down and talk with your parents and come up with a plan. You will feel soooo much better! Don't forget some friend time. After all you are still a teenager!
Best wishes!

well, I say that's quite a list, I'm exhausted just reading all of what you do. Ok, how about you write down what you do in a day, hand it into your parents, and discuss you'd like to cut back on a few items, just a hint though, schooling is not one to cut anything out of. but perhaps the softball competitions, the drama the dance groups. I know you love all of these, and I'm proud of you for achieving these numerous items for this length of time. However, your health is going to suffer if you don't slow down a bit, and learn to relax, take time out for you, watch the flowers grow so to speak, I hope this helps. Enjoy life, but to enjoy it you must learn to listen to what it is trying to tell you as well. Take care, and good luck

Sweet heart...You are old enough now to understand ,that you need to do things for you...It sounds to me like you are trying to please everyone around you and you lost sight of yourself. quiet time is essential for anyone to keep there sanity ,juggling to many things at once is bound to get you stressed and maybe a little depressed as well, If your parents wanted to home school you...this does not mean teach yourself this means they teach you! i am glade to hear you are taking some college courses...maybe you have to tell you Sib's to clean up after themselves...and take turns walking your dog.maybe you have to pick between some of the activities take time to breath life goes by way to fast good luck and God Bless you!

Extra ciricular activities are very important, but don't you think your giving your life away? I mean, when I was 15 I didn't do have the stuff you are doing. You should deffinitely be able to keep up with your grades (extrememly important, trust me) and also be able to just hang with your friends and have a life. Maybe drop some of those activities they arent really wanted so you can keep up with your grades and be able to relax.

You seem like you are busy well duh right? I would maybe stop some of the things you like because you are a little over your head. You have to babysit and take on the responsiblities of the house it seems like. I would talk to your parents about cutting down your chores. Because you should not be doing all that stuff you should be having fun!

Looks like you need to determine what's most important to you and cut out things that aren't as high up on the list.
