Often, it's because they're insecure about the friendship, so they're testing it to see if the other person really "cares enough to get jealous."

Maybe it's human nature. But the best way to get good, reliable friends is to be one.

Because this person feels the friendship with you is dying out so they want to make you jealous in order for you to change the friendship without them telling you or them doing it themselves

They probably miss your companionship and are "hyping" because they want you to feel as if they are totally happy in the new friendship so you won't know how UNhappy they actually are. if u have a friend exhibiting this kind of behaviour, IGNORE IT! but only if u and that friend ARE NOTon speaking terms anymore. if u are then its a sign that u both need to sit down and evaluate the friendship.

may be because they wnt you to feel that, they are happy with their new friends and that you did a mistake by ignoring them,so atleast now you must realize that they are a good friends of yours and as you have left them, their life has not ended they can get a better friend than you

because your "best friend" is immature.
she's probably that kind of person who thinks the world revolves around her and wants to be the focus of everyone's attention. this is her way of saying "yeah look what you're missing out on." don't let her!

you will possibly desire to easily ruin up with him (of direction, that is purely my own opinion). He feels like the possessive type, and prefer the type who waits for different human beings to return crawling back to him. yet despite that is, you mustn't use the 'you had intercourse with different human beings' excuse to get him back. that is purely low.

Maybe you are rubbing it in their face too much and making them feel like they aren't good enough for you.
Maybe you neglect them .
No one can "make" you jealous...
