That house has been demolished, so I'm guessing you'd be pretty cold from sleeping outside!

I have been to Amityville, New York and driven past the house. Personally, yes I do think it is real and I feel there is a "presence". There is a large Iroquois population in New York and I would not be surprised if most of the homes are built on top of their burial grounds. Then the murders of the Defeo family, a lot of evidence to provide the basis for an evil presence. But believe what you want to believe, it is a house. :)

The same thing that's been happening to the people who have lived in the house since the 70's, nothing! They claim it's not haunted. I watched a documentary on that, and it all seems to be a money making scheme by the owners who made it famous. I don't know if I believe in ghosts but it's awful just to think about what happened in that house. Just knowing what happened is scary and eerie in itself.

The haunting was a hoax they got the idea from watching The Exorcist and the fact that a family were gunned down in there beds at that address the killer a son claimed he heard voices telling him to do it.

You would initially find, to your horror, that you yourself would have to fix the bed before you sleep.

You will then discover the frightening fact that the bed is a used tempur-pedic without the mattress and you'd have to go pillow-less to sleep.

And finally what would scare you out of your finances, you realize that......nothing happened.
