when is the earliest that you can carry out a preganancy test? Last day of cycle 23/02/07 - not had period yet, done a couple of tests but they have been negative....

In addition, I had some spotting about two weeks ago and then again two days ago but it has came to nothing.... no other symptoms as such

I am in the same boat but every woman is different and so is every pregnancy. Wait till after you are late and test again. Some get a positive before their period and some dont get a positive for weeks afterward.

you could have concieved the child at the very end of your window.. so wait another week or 5 days and test again if still no period, and the test still saying negative take a trip to the doctor and explain.

some test say that you can test up to 5 days before your missed period but I would just wait a few more days. usually you get it on the day you test--how ironic

SInce you are only one day late i would wait a couple more days to see if your period does come, if it does not i would buy another test and test again. GOOD LUCK!!

For some people, it could be too early for you to test...or get a blood test...Your really only one day late..just wait a while longer..

It can take up to 2 weeks after missed period to get a +, just depends on your hcg levels.

You are exactly one month from your last period, it might be coming any day now, I would just wait another week, if no period then test if still negitive then you are most likely not pregnant.
