What happen to the British colonies at the end of the movie called the Patriot?

At the end of the Patriot the British surrendered because they were surrounded the French from the sea and the Americans on land. After the surrernder of the British the American colonies became the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.

Ten minutes after the movie ended, the British actually won the war. The producers didn't have enough money to film this part. The colonies won their independence years later when they threatened to send George Burns to London to perform his act.

The british lost control over the colonies and so the revolution was a success... they became American colonies :)
