I remember. Rob and Laura Petrie, Lucy and Ricky Ricardo, June and Ward Clever, and even Fred and Ethyl Mertz slept in separate beds. Now, you can say the "A" word, as long as you don't follow it with "hole". I have, however heard Dennis Franz say the whole word on NYPD Blue.

How about the shock at the Brady's sleeping in the same bed? I like the old movies where married folks had separate beds. It's so funny.

i'M ONLY 34 AND i REMEMBER WHEN YOU HAD TO CHANGE THE CHANNEL BY HAND,AND I ALSO REMEMBER WHEN CERTAIN WORDS COULD NOT BE USED,AND WHEN ALL MARRIED PEOPLE ON TV SLEPT IN DIFFERENT BEDS,LOOK AT HOW THE WORLD HAS CHANGED AND NOT FOR THE BETTER.

hell, they wouldn't even show couples in the same bed--Rob and Laura, Ricky and Lucy, Fred and Ethel all had separate beds.

I blame it all on the sitcom "Soap"...they were the first show to use the word 'horny'...it was all downhill from there.
