presdent (I'm assuming you mean President?) I'll also assume you're referring to Barrack Obama.
Well, he's not simply a 'common black man'.
Of the choices between Clinton, Edwards, Gore (even if he ran in the future), or Obama - I'd pick Obama.
But first I want to 'pencil-in' Ted Kennedy on my ballot just so he gets back on the sauce where he belongs.

Which common black man are you referring too? Barrack Obama hasn't exactly been forced to lead a common life and if hes your guy and he truly is the best for the job then Conservatives will embrace him as our president.

Republicans have begged Condi to run, not because shes black, we think shes awesome! Bush has hired alot minority people for High cabinet positions. because they are highly qualified, not to get points. Dems use the color thing. When I watched Hurrican katrina Coverage Im thinking about these people as survivors, strong, incredible. Im seeing future Republicans who can do anything. I changed the channel and I see a Black Democrat calling them poor suffering black people nobody wants. I never thought about them like that and it bummed me out.

Are you implying that there are only white republicans? Are you also implying that no one else is common from the beginning of their political career? Can you prove that you are a commoner, or a person with blinders on?

I believe you are talking about Barrack Obama.
Those red faces would be caused by the fact that he's Democrat. not because he's black.
Maybe some Republicans are racists. I'm sure there are some Democrats that are as well.
But you CAN'T say that all Republicans are racist, and it is really unfair to do so.

It doesn't matter the color. It matters how well they can get the job done. And if he's black, that's even better; it shows that we're looking to the inside and not the outside for our leaders.

If you are referring to rice, yes, she is very common, and might be a man.
It's kind of hard to tell.
However, if you are referring to Obama, there is nothing common about this extraordinary gentleman.
