Every day is the same, I'm fast approaching 40 and feel that I have done nothing with my life. I am a single parent of 7, oldest is 24 and youngest is 4months. The only thing that makes me smile is my baby. I have no friends and would like to know if anyone as any ideas to make my life more interesting. Thank You in anticipation of your replies

Hi, I am also VERY fast approaching 40 and have four children ranging 10 to 14.
I know EXACTLY how you feel. I am not miserable or unhappy but I am bored. My life seems to consist of the same housework day after day, with each day seeming the same as the one before.
You are a bit restricted with a 4month old because that makes volunteer work or socialising a bit more difficult.
Could you join a mother's group where there is perhaps a few older mothers (not all in their 20's) where you could get together at each other's houses and perhaps plan some outings with your babies?
I guess I'm not a good one to be giving advice when I'm in much the same boat as you...but I know sometimes it helps to know that someone else understands how you are feeling!
They say "Life begins at 40!" so all hope is not lost...lol

Same S**t different day I think I would say!! I think most people suffer from that syndrome you are definitely not on your own! It must be hard have to have a life when you have a baby to look after and as I don't have any children i can only imagine. I would try looking on the net if there are any groups near you that you can join. How about going to your local sports centre I know that might sound daunting but there are usually creches that can look after the kids and you can meet people in the classes. Hope you find something life is very short and we have to make the most of everyday think positive xx

M life is like that - I dont know, I keep ,making mistakes as well and haven't kissed a girl or been intimate with a gril it did not get to me at first but it effects my work as an actor as I cant use any emotional memories to add to the core of my characters.

Your entire live has been consumed by your activities
as a baby factory...
This is one reason that many modern western women
take birth control and limit their families to 2 or 3 kids...

Have you tried your local Mother and Baby and/or toddler group (not sure what age child no. 6 is). Surgery/health visitor may have details.

Ride motorcycles and ATVs. You will be happy and make lotsa friends
