If this is a bottle that you are drinking from then you can use, some White Vinegar to clean it efficiently, just pour in a small amount then shake a little then add hot water then shake again for a few minutes then rinse out with hot water, thats it ! Good Luck !

A bottle brush works great. lol
If you are talking about a pop or water bottle then you most likely dont have a bottle brush. They are cheap to buy though.

Other wise if you have somthing long and narrow you can shove a cloth into the bottle and use your wonder stick thingy to move it around, getting all the sides and corners. Then when done tip bottle in side and grab a tiny piece of the cloth and pull out. Dont use a cloth that is too big or it is hard to remove.

To much work for you, then just rinse your bottles after every use. Then when you get home fill them with hot water and let them sit with the lids off. Dump water, add new cooler water , put lid on and shake. Dont use hot water with lid and shake as it will expand, create pressure and well... you know what will happen. Good luck

Put rice, vinegar and water in the bottle, cover the tope and shake. The rice will gently clean the inside.

Another method would be to get an effervescent tablet that you use to clean dentures. Break it up and put in the bottle add warm water and let the tablet fizz the dirt away.

use water and vinegar, clean as if you were sanitizing a baby bottle, by boiling the bottle for about 5 min thoroughly covered in water with about 1/2 cup of vinegar, pour off water and vinegar then replace with plain water and boil about 3 min. let dry and you are good to go.

It's simple. Pour salt in the bottle and add a little water. Stick your thumb in the top and swish the bottle around hard. Repeat if necessary.

My dear old mother's solution. Long before chemicals.
Especially with clinging food stuff.
Place some small nails in the bottle with water and swirl like hell.
The other suggestion with vinigar is ok after.
A bottle brush may work.
